BOWLS & TURNINGS
Wood turning has been my passion for over 40 years. I have built and accumulated 7 lathes of which I have 5 currently. Local woods are readily available from neighbors with fallen treesĀ for anyone with a chainsaw. Hawaii offers many beautiful woods from which to create bowls and hollow turnings. I have kept over 100 turnings out of the several hundred made in the last 40 years. These are now on display in my home gallery.
WOOD PROJECTS
Over the years I have built custom desks, tables, mirrors, clocks, and many items for gifts especially for my wife and family.
METAL PROJECTS
Mostly shop tools and accessories; 2 wood lathes, sawmill, log carrier, 2 belt sanders, propane furnace, metal hacksaw, anvil, hydralic press. 2 indexed rotary tables, sheet metal shear and several jigs and accessories. I enjoy designing and making new tools especially using parts that have been salvaged from discarded and non-repairable items.
